The Legends HOA, Inc. Board 4th Quarter 2024 Updates & Alerts
Holiday greetings!
As we begin Christmas week, I wanted to offer brief fourth quarter updates and a January preview. Further details on each during our January Annual Meeting (see below for date/time with Zoom link).
- Christmas lights and decorations professionally installed and to be removed by vendor Elf Approved Lighting
- We love the visible patriotism in our community! We request, however, that all political signs be taken down by the end of Inauguration week.
- Chief Rising Fawn Park Incident: A nearly 6 ft, pyre was discovered on the trail and reported by residents. Vandalism of park playground equipment, bridge, signs, and benches took place to create a 6-foot+ pyre that was pointedly built prior to Halloween. Photos were taken (posted on website), and Board members disassembled the pyre before potential fire could be lit.
- Be aware that this kind of behavior will NOT be tolerated.
- Police were immediately notified. They came out, and we filed a full police report.
- If you see something, please say something. The safety of all residents is of the utmost importance to the HOA Board.
- ATVs and Golf Carts: They must adhere to legal road laws. Legends is comprised of county roads, so drivers of legal vehicles must be of legal age to operate such vehicles.
- There have been numerous complaints reported.
- ATVs are NOT permitted on HOA trails or any HOA property.
- VULCAN QUARRY registered a complaint with Legends that they discovered ATV tracks on their trails.
- BE ADVISED: VULCAN QUARRY has threatened to PROSECUTE any trespassers whom they discover on their properties.
- Front entrance rejuvenation has begun with pruning and tree trimming courtesy of Georgia Tree Pro.
- Seeking a new Board officer! One of our board members rolls off January 2025, so we’ll be voting at our Annual Meeting. Contact us asap if interested, so we may supply you with a Bio form. We are a friendly bunch and will need a fifth member!
- Tired of only being able to pay your annual dues by check? Well, great news! A more convenient payment method is now available via Swipe. Details and links to pay via Swipe will be included on mailed invoices and discussed in greater detail at the January Annual Meeting.
- As always, monthly board meeting Minutes are posted to the website for your review at any time.
So, when is the January Annual Meeting?!
Save the Date and mark your calendar:
Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
We will hold the meeting via Zoom Conference Call to keep our members healthy and promote a more convenient venue.
A formal notice for the Annual Meeting will be mailed under separate cover along with invoices and proxies. The Annual Meeting Agenda, last year’s Budget and Minutes will be provided on the HOA website.
I will send a reminder email with Zoom link again mid-January.
